AURIOU makes extremely sharp and long-lasting wood rasps. In contrast to machine-made rasps, the sharper and slightly irregularly-spaced teeth on these handmade tools allow them to cut better and faster.

Produced by AURIOU in France. This producer also makes extremely fine-toothed rasps, see below. Auriou has its own table to show the relative coarseness or fineness of the teeth on its files. 1 is the coarsest, 15 the finest.
